Hard Rock Cafe | Concert Series

Hard Rock Cafe Houston hired me to create a summer concert series, and Rock the Plaza was formed.  I co-produced the summer series drawing on every aspect of my marketing experience and with the help of a small team of very talented people in their own fields.  

Local and national artists were invited to draw on their fan base in partnership with Houston based nonprofit organizations we selected. We found creating a event-specific website with a ticketing portal to be the best solution for the series.  It was also part of my role to ensure communications through partners and artists channels were consistent with messaging. I produced digital and print collateral that was distributed to key partners for each concert.  

We sourced contacts at various specialty print and digital media outlets.  We developed an excellent relationship with some of the writers at OutSmart Magazine in Houston, an LGBTQ publication, that also features an online and print version of their content.  We were able to have one cover story from the two interviews they conducted.  These were also widely shared.
